| The Bull Power We select bulls that will compliment our females using overall thickness, structural correctness, depth of body and style as a few key requirements. They must also demonstrate an above average spread in growth from birth to yearling. We expect all of this along with the ability to pass on maternal traits to their daughters, as they will be replacing their mothers. Just as important as the traits listed above is the bulls phenotype and his ability to produce cattle that are competitive in the show ring. We use EPD's more extensively in our bull selection to greater our chance of producing females that continue to improve both on paper and in production. |

| LCC 32M CRICKET 553 ET Owned with Ridgeview Farm and Lowderman Cattle Company |
| Cricket was purchased at the 2006 Mile High Sale along with Ridgeview Farm. Cricket is one of the most powerful genetic packages ever offered by the Lowderman family. His sire Gavel has done a great job raising quality females the past few years adding stoutness and doability to his offspring. His mother Erica is a beautifully uddered donor female from the notable Rockin Erica. Cricket has tremendous shape down his top and from behind, while still blending into a smooth and extended front end. Cricket was shown successfully as a yearling being named Grand Champion Polled Hereford Bull at the 2006 Illinois State Fair and then Reserve Grand Champion Hereford Bull at the 2007 Wisconsin State Fair as a 2 year old right out of the pasture. | LAKE PRR 002 BODIE 254R Owned with Ridgeview Farm |
| Bodie is a real meat wagon. He is deep bodied with good leg and the kind of hair fitters love. He is also a maternal brother to Lake Lavern, the 2003 Junior National Champion. He caught a lot of attention in Denver and should be considered if you are involved in raising club calves. He has sound and predictable numbers. His Kilo influence should make him especially safe on heifers. |

| STAR PRR THUNDERSTRUCK 175M Owned with Yeagle Hereford Farm, Dakota, IL |
| Thunderstruck is an impressive bull in his own right. He was a class winner at the 2002 World Beef Expo, showing against 2 other state fair calf champions. Thunderstruck was used on a select few cows and heifers his first service with good results and lower than projected birth weights. Thunderstruck averaged 87 pounds on his first 8 calves. We plan to use him more in the future for his excellent weaning and yearling growth, his tremendous stifle and pigmentation. As a 7 time national champion, Thunderstruck's sire, Star SS Thunder needs no further introduction and his dam EKS 850C Rhonda 512 J14 became a Dam of distinction last year and consistently produces a top calf.
